We design and implement socio-economic development programmes aimed at increasing the economic participation of historically excluded individuals, households and communities.

Knowledge Pele serves private and public sector clients who seek to invest in economic inclusion. Our approach to solving these development problems is bottom-up. We therefore match individuals to concrete, sustainable skills development and employment opportunities.

A Central focus of Knowledge Pele’s work is scaling for policy impact. We recognise that the innovations of the private social investment sector have the potential to grow into large-scale development programmes. Therefore impact evaluation is built into all our socio-economic and enterprise development programmes. Our partnership with UCT is central to providing policy makers with direct insight into scientifically tested and proven successes.
